Problem Solving: Modularity Example 1

Problem: Make a card with an LED that turns on.

  1. Divide it into small tasks.
    • Draw the card and decide the place of the LED.
    • Create a circuit that can turn the LED on.
    • Create a mechanism to turn the LED on and off.
  2. Solve each task.

Problem Solving: Modularity Example 2

Problem: Make a card with an LED that turns on.

  1. Divide it into small tasks.
    • Explore different ways to create a circuit.
    • Explore different ways to create a switch.
    • Decide on the type of circuit.
    • Make a card around that circuit.
